6 September 2019: I have several constituents who are very concerned about the expansion of Heathrow Airport. These concerns are very real and cover a lot of ground – ranging from aircraft noise, to the environment to infrastructure. Today, I wrote to the CEO of Heathrow to share these concerns. 3 August 2019: It was so wonderful to see some of the presentations by NCS students today at Guildford County School. NCS is such a wonderful organisation, creating great opportunities for young people. My grateful thanks also to the residents of Elmbridge Village for giving the students such a warm welcome and for your time in making their experience so very positive.
24 July 2019: This week I made the extremely difficult decision to resign from the Government. Please see my letter to the Prime Minister. I will not support leaving the EU without a deal, however I will do everything I can from the backbenches to support the new Prime Minister as he tries to achieve a deal with the EU.
